- Where are you located?
The film festival will take place September 16-21 in Wellsboro, PA. All films will be shown at The Arcadia theatre which is located at 50 Main Street in downtown Wellsboro.
- How do I submit my film?
Click on the “Submit your Film” button on our homepage which will give you all the information you need on how to submit your film and links to our listing on Withoutabox and FilmFreeway.
- Is Endless Mountains Film Festival Listed on Withoutabox and Film Freeway?
Yes! The Endless Mountains Film Festival is listed on both Withoutabox and FilmFreeway.
- What if I don’t want to register my film with FilmFreeway or Withoutabox?
We strongly encourage that you upload your film to one of these two sites as it makes it easier for us to organize and view it. However, we also will accept your film by sending us a digital link to your film on Youtube or VIMEO. Checks must be made payable to “Endless Mountains Film Festival” and you must email us at email@example.com. You will be sent the address where your check should be mailed. You can also mail a hard copy of your film if this is your preferred submission method. E-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about submitting your hard copy.
- Do you offer prizes?
Yes! We offer prizes to the best short film in each category, the best feature film, and also for the audience choice award. For more information about our prizes and awards visit the “Prizes and Awards” section on our website.
- Can I bring a guest?
Yes! All films that are accepted will receive two complimentary VIP passes that can get you into all the events, films, and panels associated with the festival.
- What is the Film Schedule like?
Films will be shown at 10am on Friday, September 16th till 9pm, Saturday, September 17th, 10am-9pm and Sunday, September 18th, 10am-7pm. Closing night awards ceremony will begin at 8pm. For a more detailed list check out the “Festival Guide” on our website.
- What if I can’t make it to the festival and my film wins an award?
We do not mail out prizes and awards. A representative of your film must be present in order to receive the award. We understand that sometimes things happen that will make you unable to attend. In such cases, please e-mail us at email@example.com and we will do everything we can to accommodate your situation.
- How long is the festival?
The festival runs September 16th – 18th.
- Can I bring my kids?
Yes! We have films for all age groups. Check out our “Film Schedule” link on website for more information about our films. If you still have questions about the films and content feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Is there parking available?
Yes! There is street parking available. Also, parking is available at the PennWells Lodge.
- Do I get any discounts if I have a film in competition?
Yes! Filmmakers who have a film in competition receive discounts on concessions, drinks, food, and at various local businesses. A comprehensive list will be given to you upon your arrival.
- What experience do your panelists have?
Our panelists cover all areas of the film industry. Acting, directing, producing, writing, and equipment professionals will provide you with valuable insight and techniques to help you in your craft. Check out our “Panel Schedule” on our website to see who’s speaking at this year’s festival.
- Will you have networking events?
Yes! Every morning, before films begin playing for the day, we will host a networking breakfast for all filmmakers to connect with each other. Every evening we will be hosting a networking event as well. For more information on our events, check out the “Event Schedule” portion on our website.
- Can I get a refund on my submission fees?
If you submit via Withoutabox or FilmFreeway you must agree to their terms and policies and must speak with their representatives about obtaining a refund. All checks for submission fees that are mailed to the Endless Mountains Film Festival are non-refundable.
